Arleen: My name is Arleen Sosa, I'm 18 years old. I'm attending AWC. I like to dance. I think it is a good way to exercise and express myself. I started dancing when I was in second grade in Mexico. I started dancing folkloric and I love it. I'm so excited to participate in this contest and also because I am gong to dance with my friend Maritza. We were dance partners since last year.
Maritza: My name is Maritza Morales and I am 15 years young. I am recently a dance at YHS and Leep of Faith. I started getting involved with groups, both at my elementary school and Dil Se Mulicultural dance team. I loved performing for my community, Roverside. In seventh grade I moved to Yuma and continued my dancing here. I'm anxious and super pumped to move forward in this contest. I hope to gain experience and show much more, because this choreography was made in 3 days. My partner, Arleen, and I were busy with other performances yet still worked our hardest.
