Name:Angelina Bonta

Song:Independence Day

Age:27

When did you first start to sing?
I'm not sure. I've been singing for as long a I can remember!

Do you have any formal singing training?
Not really. However, I learned a lot for BJ Lord, the director of the Hi Jolly Sweet Adelines female barbershop chorus, when I was a member of the chorus.

What other talents do you have?
Ummm...I can touch my tongue to my nose - does that count as a talent??? Seriously, I can play a few songs on the fiddle and I love to bake.

What are your personal goals in life?
To never be afraid of pursuing my passions to the fullest extent and to get better at cultivating relationships with those around me. Also, I aim to be a really cool aunt!!!

What is in your CD player right now?
A compilation CD of songs I like.

What is your favorite song to sing?
Probably "Unchained Melody" by LeAnn Rimes because it has a range that makes me stretch and people seem to enjoy LeAnn's version.

Who in the music world do you think your style is most like?
I don't know who I would compare myself with...I used to think Patty Loveless, though, because many of her songs suit my voice and range.

If you couldn't sing, which talent would you most like to have?
I wish I could dance without abandon!

What has been your proudest moment in your life so far?
It's difficult to pinpoint "the" proudest moment so far. One that is up there, though, is graduating Summa Cum Laude from NAU - Yuma. I worked hard for that!!!

What would people be surprised to learn about you?
That's a good question! That I can tough my nose with my tongue?
